MUNTI MAGIC X MODERN ART
The modern art gallery K-U-K are inviting children and families in with a freshly painted Mini Gallery from Munti Magic.
We are over-the-top and honored by the fact that Kjell Erik Kili-Olsen is the person behind the brush - and the sign.

Interact and play with art
This winter, Trondheim is hosting the Nordic World Ski Championships. Six artists have created the official awards for the athletes. The artists are no other than Håkon Bleken, Marius Amdam, Kjell Erik Killi-Olsen, Anne-Karin Furunes, Julie Ebbing, and Tuda Muda.
With the Mini Gallery and Munti Box from Munti Magic, children can build and play with elements from the World Championship official art.
The Munti Box
The Mini Gallery
The Mini Gallery is placed outside by the entrance.

It's a mini exhibition with printed versions of the art made by kids on the Munti Box.

It is such a fun design, with the yellow boots as feet!

Fun and play – based on research
The Mini Gallery was first developed in 2020, in a research project by Munti Magic and several art museums in Trøndelag. The project was funded by the Research Council of Norway.
The aim of the project was to figure out what makes children and families visit museums and art galleries – and how can we lower the thresholds?

The Mini Gallery has so far been installed in four museums – and now one modern art gallery – with unique content based on the collection in each institution.
